For 18-year-old Grace Sanders, who has been watching the parade since she was a child, this opportunity was particularly special. “I never thought I’d be breathing the same air as the Rockettes,” she said. “To share the stage with them on that little green mat is going to be really cool.”

A Sentimental Experience:

For Sanders and her fellow senior dancer, Myah Caufman, this performance held an extra layer of sentimentality. As they approach the end of their time at Tutterow Dance Academy, this was one of their last big performances together. “I’m so excited to go and be with all my friends and create those memories before we graduate and go our separate ways,” Caufman expressed.

The Parade Experience:

The anticipation was palpable as parents and supporters gathered in the early morning hours to secure prime seats along the parade route. The Tutterow Dance Academy parents, like Idi Isong, were up before the sun to ensure they had a front-row view of their daughters’ performance. “We’ve been here since 4:30,” Isong said. “We got prime seats waiting to see our Tutterow dancers.”

As the parade began, the Spirit of America Dance Stars took to the streets, showcasing their talent and dedication to the art of dance. The dancers, dressed in vibrant costumes, captivated the audience with their precise movements and infectious energy.
